H.W. Ted Stuckless is from Canada - born in the central Newfoundland town of Botwood. He learned to play guitar before his teenage years, but remembers always writing songs. Ted earned a teaching degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and became involved with educational technology - an avenue that allowed for artistic expression. While teaching labs in eduational technology, he met and later married Sandra (nee Blakey) who now sings backup on several
In 1991, Ted and Sandra tried a recording session with a good friend, Andrea Cannon, a music teacher, and they have worked together ever since. The result is that today, 11 major albums are available on CD including five albums of religious music and one of instrumentals featuring Andrea on keyboard.
As a young musician, Ted paid his dues playing on the road at many different venues after organizing a band called 'Triple Alliance'. The band had a loyal following until Ted decided to end playing on the road and get married instead. Later, as he was studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses, he discovered that his musical talents could be put to greater use in praising the Creator. Although he still enjoys writing and recording secular works, his newest songs reflect his adjusted views of life
